Playing backgammon
A game played between two players, Backgammon is one of the most loved casino games for a long time. In order to play Backgammon, every player needs his own 15 checkers of the desired color to play the game. The board includes twenty-four triangles which are known as Points or pips. The triangles are alternately colored and divided into 4 quadrants, each including 6 triangles each. The quadrant is also termed as the home-board of a player.
The players have their own pair of dice and cup to play the game. The points for the players are numbered in their home board. Each of these points is further categorized by numbers. The outermost point / triangle of the board have 24 points which on the contrary is the opponent’s 1 point. The game also includes a doubling cube with doubled numbers like 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64 used for tracking the present stake of Backgammon.
Role a single dice to Play backgammon which will determine the order these players need to follow. If both the players throw the same numbers, they keep throwing the dices until the numbers differ. The player with the highest number starts the game. Now, both the players will through the two dices together and continue the game until one of the player puts all the checkers off the board first and wins the game. If the dices fall on the right hand side of the board or out of it, it is known as “cocked dice”.
