Bank scam, money laundering and unlawful gambling wrongdoings have been charged on executives at Absolute Poker, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. Prosecutors are seeking to recover $3 billion from the firms and immediately shut down the sites.

The National Gambling Board said that in South Africa, illegal online gambling is on the rise. The board’s Tlotliso Polaki said that those who partake are often unaware of the risks and the problem is growing. The Thailand Open Backgammon Tournament 2011 is now in its 16th edition and People booked into a Pattaya hotel can see the games being played at the Aisawan Resort and Spa from 10th to 12th January 2011.
